Rates and How to Book your Outer Banks Charter
A full-day charter fishing trip out of Oregon Inlet Fishing Center is $2700 if paying with cash or check directly to BI-OP-SEA. If you choose to pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) at Oregon Inlet Fishing Center the rate will be $2836.62. A deposit of $500 is required upon booking confirmation if paid by check. Oregon Inlet Fishing Center will collect a deposit of $1446.12 if done via credit card. Additional expenses include a tip for the mate which 15% is customary.

Offshore Gulf Stream fishing trips leave the dock at 5:30am and return between 4:00pm and 5:00pm.
What You Need to Bring
We attempt to make your fishing trip as convenient, safe, and comfortable as we possibly can. To help meet your personal needs during the trip, here are some things you need to bring: lunch, snacks, beverages, cooler, sunscreens, sunglasses, camera and film or tapes, foul-weather gear and seasonal clothing.
Motion sickness medicine can be inexpensive insurance to make sure you have a good fishing trip. Consult with your physician.
Provisions
We provide bait, tackle, and ice. You may bring your favorite rod, if you wish, as long as it is in good condition with fresh line matched to the gamefish you are seeking. We carry a lot of ice to ensure that your catch is in the best condition possible when it hits the dock.
You will need a large cooler to take your catch home. We strongly recommend 1 to 2 pounds of ice for each pound of fillets. This assures that your catch will arrive at its destination in excellent condition for your dining preparation and enjoyment. Fish cleaning services are available at the marina.

When is the best time to fish for marlin, tuna, dolphin (mahi-mahi), sailfish, etc?
I want to fish for a specific species. Can we do that?
Do you practice catch and release?
Yes, and we encourage all anglers to practice conservation. Let the mate know that you want your fish released, and they will be happy to take care of it. Unless it is a food catch (eg tuna or dolphin), we recommend catch and release.
What fishing tackle is supplied on the trip?
We are outfitted with the most modern tackle, from Shimano TLD 20’s to Penn 130’s to challenge any game fishing situation which may present itself.
Do I need a fishing license?
A fishing license is not required.
Do you have a "no fish - no pay" policy?
No. While we have a long history of successful fishing, there are no guarantees.
Can I fish with my own tackle?

Can I have my fish mounted?
Replica mounts are available through the boat. If you are interested in a mount, be sure to let us know so that we can try to get accurate measurements for your trophy.
Is your boat equipped with a fighting chair?
Yes, or you may fish with a rod belt and harness.
What time does Bi-Op-Sea leave and return?
We leave the dock at 5:30am and return between 4:00pm and 5:00pm.
Does the boat have a restroom?
The Bi-Op-Sea has a beautiful indoor salon and an enclosed, comfortable head (toilet).
How much should I tip the mate?
Tip for the mate is normally $150 to $250, subject to your satisfaction with the mate’s performance.
What are your rates?

What is your cancellation policy?
We require 2 weeks notice to cancel a trip. If the trip is canceled due to inclement weather the deposit is applied to a future trip or refunded based on customer’s wishes.
Can I make my reservation without making a deposit?
Your tentative reservation is not confirmed until we receive your deposit of $500 if paying by check or $875 if via credit card through Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. When we receive your deposit, we will send your reservation confirmation.
When do I need to pay for my fishing trip?
The deposit must be received to hold your reservation. Balance is due after completion of your charter.
