Today was one of those days that started out bleak with 20knot SW winds, big seas and very little action in the am. Capt Brynner on the Smoker and I fished up the Edge and found a temperature break/color change. We had a few bites right a way and it just got better from there. Soon the grass came to the change and we had great action with bailer and gaffer dolphin. We then left the change and fished back to the edge where we caught a couple blackfins. I then found some Hammerhead Sharks and Yellowfins balling bait on top and got hit by the yellowfins. Sharks at 2, pulled 2 off and caught 2 over 60 lbs. A great catch for Jae Song and crew from Northern Va. Just goes to show why Oregon Inlet offers some of the best fishing in the world. You just never know what the day may bring.
