We had Eric Cunnigham and crew from Ohio on Monday. The 6 or so boats fishing all ran down the beach looking for the gulfstream change where the Hatteras fleet had good fishing the day before. The water had shoved way out and we turned around at 55miles without getting to warm water. The Seaducer and the Sensation both caught a bluefin in 55 deg water but the rest of us never had a bite. On Thursday we had Greg Farinak’s gang from Raleigh and the ride out was bumpy head to seas out east of the inlet. Better conditions once we started fishing and we had 2 bites at once early. Young Michael did a great job to catch a 100lb bluefin. No bites the rest of the day and only 1 other boat had a bluefin bite. Lots of wind for this fri/sat and we will be back out Sunday. Gulf stream looking to be pushing back up the bank so hopefully fishing will improve. Showing a pic below of the BI-OP-SEA running sent to me by a guy fishing in an outboard. Thanks!
