Blue Marlin Fishing in The Dominican Republic

The BI-OP-SEA will be docked at the beautiful Casa de Campo marina on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic. The fishing here this time of year is sensational with 4-15 shots a day at blue marlin which average 80-120 lbs. We use 30lb stand up tackle which provides great light tackle action and multiple hookups are common for this fishery. Casa de Campo is not only a marina but also a world-class resort, which provides every amenity one could ask for all within the same facility. There are restaurants, shopping, 2 championship golf courses, an equestrian center, sporting clay range, sailing, diving, snorkeling, sea kayaking and more. For those interested in bringing the family along, Casa de Campo has child-care services and a wide variety of children’s programs for all ages.

The accommodations range from hotel rooms to 4 bedroom villas with private pools. Prices start around $200/night for a hotel room and $400/night for a 2-bedroom villa with whirlpool. There are often special promotions with better rates.
